Archiving Characters is not a strategy for reducing your game size. Note that an archived Character still loads at game startup time, it is merely hidden from view. The Archive is displayed at the bottom of the tab as soon as a single item is placed in it. Archiving a Character will remove it from view in the Journal tab and place it in the Archive. This can help with keeping your Journal tab organized. If you don't need to use Character or Handout entries during play, you can store them in your Archive for safekeeping.
